Description
A worry worm is a small crocheted wiggly worm with a friendly face.
It comes with a printed card with a message written in simple rhyme.
There are two rhymes and we will include both with your worm and you can chose which to keep, or keep both.
One poem encourages the child to share their worries with the worm because a trouble shared is a trouble halved.
The other poem encourages the child to read to the bookworm which will listen uncritically. It is often helpful for reluctant readers.
Bookworms can also make handy bookmarks and, when your child no longer needs it, assuming it has not been worn away with love, it can be gifted to another child, or placed in an unwanted book and left in a waterproof bag for a child to find, thus passing on the gift of reading.
